The Decadent Nobility of the Kingdom of Blue Moons; Their entire culture was centered around ever-more extravagant displays of indulgence; gems, fine silks, and elaborate masks of Kulga feathers and beaten gold, copper, or carved redwood from Kiala were common, and have been found in great numbers by archaeologists working in the ruins.
Contemporary images of the Nobles depict them as tall, either fat or inhumanly thin, and dressed in elaborate make-up and ridiculously complex and expensive clothing. Contemporary accounts say they taxed the people into crushing poverty to support their lifestyle; they were inhumanly cruel and sadistic, torturing captives for their own amusement and willing to duel each other to the death over the slightest offence; and given to extravagant dances, parties, and feasts where pearls were dissolved in wine, and the flesh of unicorns was eaten.
Of course, a lot of these accounts were written by their political enemies; it is, however, confirmed by archaeological evidence that they lived a lifestyle of extravagant wealth while the rest of Xothu was embroiled in devastating war.
They were killed when the Kingdom of Blue Moons fell.

The Ammolite Court can also refer to the capital of the Kingdom of Blue Moons. It lies in ruins now, but contemporary accounts describe a great city, 'lit by seven hundred thousand lanterns'. The city was primarily made of a dark, blue-gray stone and imported bamboo, and the architecture was elaborate. There were few streets in the conventional sense, the city being more-or-less a series of interconnected palaces, interspaced with courtyards and gardens and waterways, and most thoroughfares were indoors, roofed over with light coming from high windows. The city itself seemed to be organized almost like a palace; Kitchens, for example, had their own district fed by farmland outside the city and by vast slaughterhouses within it.

The Laboratory of Glass

The Brass Plaza
The Sapphire Cloister
