Known as the 'Gateway to the Ice', Apuchuttaikta is a city-state in the extreme north of Thass. Despite its frigid climate, the city is a thriving center of trade, serving as a link between the various races of the northern ice sheets and the cultures to the south.
It is known for its distinctive architecture, featuring gently elongated wooden domes, painted with colourful geometric figures and topped with blades and steeples that produce an eerie singing in the wind, and for the ice-port where the nomads of the Turup Ice Sheet keep their colourful, beetle-driven sleighs while they trade scrimshaw, furs, and meat for the steel produced in the south.
