Astronomancy is the practice of Astronomancers.
It is somewhat inappropriately named. Astronomancy is the use of Magic in order to enhance light and detect subtle forces like gravity in order to understand the movement and nature of heavenly bodies.
Advanced Astronomancy seems to use the core-magic of other planets in the solar system to understand such things as timing, tides, and so forth. The planet Kalakkanal in fact, seems to grant some divinatory powers.
