Overview

Lilithians are tall, intelligent, graceful creatures who tend to think very highly of their race due to the belief (which all Lilithians accept) that the Great Goddess Lilith of the Seven Planes created their race by her own hand, placing them on Xothu in the anticipation that they would ultimately find their way to Enlightenment.

Physical Appearance

Physically, Lilithians do not differ from Humans in many ways, however, there are several notable distinctions Lilithians have: their height, the fact that their eyes have no pupils, their facial feature are much more sharply defined, their tongues range in color depending on race, their teeth are sharp and pointed, their ears extremely long (anywhere from fifteen to twenty centimeters in length) and pointed, and their arms, legs, and fingers are longer than that of Humans.

General History

Originally, there was only one race of Lilithian. However, differences in beliefs about what exactly Enlightenment was and how one would go about achieving it ultimately caused the split of the Lilithians into five separate Lilithian races: Sun Lilithians, Grand Lilithians, Shadow Lilithians, Wood Lilithians, and Ice Lilithians. Each race went its own way and, in the using of their magic in different ways, developed into five almost entirely different races, held together only by their somewhat common religion.

Religion

It should be noted that the fundamentals of the religion pretty much hold true for each race of Lilithian, however, it's in the details where it gets tricky. Which gods get more attention, how magic is used, what the Enlightenment is, and how Enlightenment is achieved marks the biggest differences from one aspect of the religion to the other.

Magic

Magically, Lilithians are among the most powerful races, but their use of magic is highly dependent on their racial background. A Lilithian has little ability to develop other magical aptitudes than that which is inhereted.
