Night Orcs inhabit the plateaus and mountains of Daramus. They are crepuscular, and can function well in the day though they prefer to be active at night. Their skin colouring is a deep, navy blue that sets them quite apart from the greens and browns of the other Orcish races. In addition, Night Orcs tend to have quite smooth skin. Night Orcs tend to be studious and industrious, and generally look down upon their green and brown skinned brethren as being somewhat unfortunately primitive. They are reasonably adept at the arts of war, though not as provocative as the other Orcish races (with the exception being the now extinct Western Orcs.) Night Orcs live in cities, their stone architecture tends to be sturdy and effective. Despite being viewed by many other intelligent races as just being another shade of orc (especially by Lilithians), they don't mind contact and association with others. They tend to have a more sophisticated appearance than their brethren, and be quicker and just as strong. Magic is not especially prevalent among them, though when it shows up it tends to be greatly more powerful than the simplistic magicks of their lesser cousins. Night Orc sorcerers are widely respected among arcane circles, especially for the range and complexity of their spells.
