The Ninth world of the Solar System is home to robotic Caretakers. They maintain the world until the Ancients return.

The Caretakers are powered by a large crystal. When asked where it came from, the Caretakers will answer that it is a blessing that the Ancients bestowed on every world.

Astronomancers may invoke the Ninth World. These spells, known as The Truths of the Jewel Sphere are the most important and dangerous magics they know.

Physically, it is divided into seven segments, like an orange, each one comprised of one of the elements most vital to the robots' self-maintenance- iron, tin, copper, silicon, carbon, aluminium, and zinc- in almost completely pure form. Most spectacularly, the carbon segment is in the form of a single, enormous diamond spanning from the north to the south pole.
