A wandering machine-prophet, the Impostor is a gigantic, hunched, skeletal figure, monstrous and almost insectile in appearance and covered in ragged furs. His voice is chattering and squeaking. He claims to be a god, although he has nothing to back this up. Conventional wisdom is that he is insane, although relatively harmless- a small religion has even grown up around his teachings.
He almost certainly originated on the Ninth World.
