Voidmancy can mean one of two things. One is the opposite of astromancy, which is strictly speaking still astronomancy and not a separate art at all. Instead of reading the stars, it reads the space between the stars.
Spellworkers using this art generally work along other astromancers as a balance point; all magic that works in astromancy should have an a) the extreme opposite affect of in voidmancy or b) the EXACT same affect.

True Voidmancy originated with the Night Orcs, whose beliefs typically state that spaces hold more power than the things they surround. In some cases, this is literally true, thus a skilled Voidworker needs no focus-object unlike some other magical professions. Voidmancy is quite useful for making adjustments to things, or placing area enchantments. Teleportation is also fairly easy under Voidmancy, as is magical tracking. Illusions are a little complex however, and can only be cast onto an empty space, and not onto a being or object. Voidmancy is infamous for some of its destructive powers, as these are the most documented spells in the voidmancy repertoire.
Most Voidworkers are not actually particularly powerful, in spite of having a broad range of spells at their disposal. This is usually due to a misunderstanding of the true nature of "the void", or a lack of deeper study into the art. Voidworkers begin to realise the full potential of the art when they begin to draw power from the spaces between the stars themselves. It is here that even a basic understanding of astronomancy or astrology can be helpful.
Shadow Lilithians have a noted interest in Voidmancy, but Night Orcs, due to the nature of their traditional beliefs, are generally more adept at it than they.
Shadowmancy, while related, is not actually a subset of the Voidmancy practice, and draws its energies from different sources.
